Physics OF Basketball- is how physics applied in all aspects in basketball.

Jump shot- is an attempt to score a basket by jumping, usually straight up, and in mid-jump, propelling the ball in an arc into the basket.

Dribbling- is the legal method of advancing the ball by oneself, as opposed to passing it to another player or shooting for the basket. It consists of bouncing the ball on the floor continuously with one hand while walking or running down the court.

Passing- consists of an intentional transfer of the ball from one player to another of the same team.

Free-Throw- are unopposed attempts to score points from a restricted area on the court (the free throw line; informally known as the foul line), and are generally awarded after a foul on the shooter by the opposing team. Each successful free throw is worth one point.
